Heather Sjogren

SVP of Operations

As SVP of Operations at Totem Solutions, Heather oversees all aspects of Totem’s services: the Benefits Service Center, Wellness Consulting, and Enrollment Projects.  Heather joined Totem from a large multi-product carrier where she worked in National Accounts as a Senior Client Services Consultant.  She has extensive experience with Employee Benefits, Product Implementation, Claims Processing, Contracts, Employee Communications, Eligibility Files, Call Centers, and overall Account Management.  Prior to working in the employee benefits industry, Heather was an administrator and a teacher at a local county school system.  Medical sales is also part of Heather’s professional repertoire.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, major in Marketing and minor in Health Sciences, and a Master of Education from North Georgia College and State University.  She has a Group Benefits Associate designation and continues her professional development with Certified Employee Benefits Specialist courses offered through the Wharton School.  Heather is a client focussed leader and professional with an extreme attention to detail, making her an integral part of the Totem team.
